Done and done!

It feels very nice to have this little thing out of the way! It started out today at 9am in Cedar Rapids, IA (KCID). This involves a quick 30min flight from my home base of KDBQ. Plane parked and secured I do some cramming since I'm about 30min early. Soon my examiner arived...he's a 72 year old gentleman; a real good guy. The oral lasted four hours and the flight portion a little over an hour and a half. Worst of all it was hot! I think the high was 91F, but the heat index was up around 100 and of course I was in khakis and a polo. The following is an outline of what we did:

Phew! I think I lost 10lb in the plane! I easily drank a gallon of water...

Well...I'm going to bed now, maybe it'll sink in tomorrow that I'm a CFI.
