I've horse back riden my whole life, and homeschooled junior and senior year to travel for competitions. I am on the varsity equestrian team here at Oklahoma State, and I just transferred here in Jan 05. I really like the equestrian team, and the school itself but this Oklahoma, Small Town, Bible Belt stuff is VERY weird. Moved back to Philadelphia for summer and got my CFI!

I flight instructed at Hortman Aviation this summer, and now do at Oklahoma State. Flying is in my blood, my dad was my mom's flight instructor. My boyfriend flies the AVRO RJ-85 for Mesaba. Hes furloughed tho, so now he's with Comair on the CRJ. He was also my flight instructor, and worked for my family! Everyone back to great grandparents, uncles, aunts, etc.. are pilots. Family has owned a flight school since the 1940's. Its now a 141 Flight school at KPNE (philadelphia northeast), and Hortmont Aviation Charter Services. We have over 45 aircraft, and the charter side of it flies citation II's, V's, and an XL,as well as a few cheyenne III's, and a navajo. Also the Tiger Aircraft Dealership for the Northeast. Dad flies a G-550 for Pfizer and I am planning on taking his job, and my little bro just soloed, hes 16. Im a commercial multi pilot w. instrument. I sometimes fly as co-pilot on the Cheyennes in the summer. I graduate from Oklahoma State in December 2006 (I came here for Atletics NOT Aviation) Did my private in a Grumman Lynx, Instrument in a Grumman Tiger AG-5B both in Philly, and Commercial in a stupid Cessna 172RG, and Multi in an even more stupid Duchess (both in Oklahoma).... and CFI in a PA28R-201 arrow!
