Erm not many movies, don't really have the time. If i do watch fims it is usually comedies.

A lot of music, old stuff. Crazy for The Beatles!

Read lots of books. Tom Clancy, Dan Brown, read some Athur Miller plays, erm, loved the novel, the Cone Gatherers and The Bone collector.

I would recomend Trainspotting to anyone, best novel, ever! lol

Erm, not a lot to say really. I am originally from Scotland, trained at Oxford Aviation Training, developed an english accent and became a pilot, i'm now in the job i love. I also enjoy reading, writing and spending time with my wife.

Erm, got my PPL at 17, loved it, graduated Secondary school with 5 higher A's and had no idea what i wanted to do, loved my flying though so thought i would make a career of it. Worked with LoganAir (BA, Scotland: I done the Engineering degree for LoganAir) for awhile so after flying low cost for a bit i knew a few people who could help me get me back in the door with BA. Got my CPL and ATPL, joined BA and flew 737's (Then got rated in 320 family, basically had to as they are now dominant carrier in the BMED, GB Airways and BA Domestic fleet, but that was short lived) after that got my rating for 757/767 and flew 757's around Europe, and occasionally domestic. Then my chance in the 767 came up, i flew the Boeing 767 and then moved on to the 772. I am now a 'Locum' pilot, I fly where i can if i am needed basically, i love it!

Still do fly privatly with my Father, that is really where it all began.

Prestwick Airport is probably the place i have to thank for where i am today. All the fundamentals of flight were taught there, i was lucky enough to get to sit in on a lot or training things. The Concorde was often in the cicuit there aswell, always said i would fly it, not much chance now.

Erm, flying is still a hobby as much as it is a living.

I also love walking, reading, hiking and listning to music.

My struggle to the top was through the following route ... basically ... Degree in Engineering at Strathclyde University, PPL (At Prestwick Flight Center), CPL, (APP with OAT) then ATPL still with OAT and EPST. Simple enough ...?

The Aircraft i am rated in are ...

Airbus320 Family. (319/320/321)
Boeing 767 Family (Boeing 753/752/763/762)
Boeing 777 Family (Boeing 772)
Boeing 737 Family (GENX and Classics)

Hobbies now are family related, married and i have a son. I enjoy biking though. Me boy just got a 125cc Honda, so the idea is to tour Europe together on the bikes, that will be when he has a bit of a bigger cc though :)

Hi Tom,
Thanx for adding me...
I'm "just getting started" in my pilot career... occasionally I'm flying a King Air 200, but I'm mainly working on my CFI/I right now.
