Pilot here and pilots there. What about the hobbyist in aviation?.This great subject covers such a wide spectrum. The plane spotter to the wigger (airband listener) who keeps his/her ear to the scanner. The anoracks who take aircraft registrations to the photographer.

What we need on this site is a space for this type of people, who would like to fly, but cannot, becouse of financial problems or dont have chance in life to do so.

You know them, the guys at the fence with notebooks and cameras. If you ever taken a look at the web site " fighter control index", it takes a broad sweep at military hobbyist.

I find it a brill website and I am a member. The sections include base movements, airband updates with who has heared what on the air. photos of aircraft, which members have put up.

If Trueaviation could bring together the flyers and hobbyist, THIS I think would make the site more intresting for all.

COMMENTS PLEASE...to Airfixpilot (David)
