Airshow Pilot/American Airlines Pilot

Airshow Pilot / American Airlines Pilot. I am attached to a Tactical Fighter Squadron (Wild Weasels) that currently flys F-16's and soon to be converted over to A-10s. (Let's Roll) I currently fly and Captain American Airlines Aircraft. I depart KMCI on a Boeing MD-82 series commerical jet with a nonstop range from 1,500 to 2,700 statute miles and a maximum takeoff weight of 140,000 pounds, 147' 11" long and accommodates 144 passengers in a mixed-class configuration, with 152 in single-class and 168 in inclusive-tour arrangements.

Typical cruise speed at 35,000 feet is 0.76 Mach or 504 mph, from the two (2)Pratt & Whitney JT8D-219 engines with a maximum of 21,000 lbs of thrust.

Command/PIC: Good airmanship and you are directly responsible for the final authority regarding the safe operation and may deviate from any general operation to meet the emergency. Both an awesome responsiblity and humbling authority. I am usually laughing if not grunting from the G-force. Flying is everything I ever wanted to do.

So once I reach Chicago (ORD) from Kansas City (MCI) I will change aircraft and continue on flying a Boeing 777-212-ER (Cockpit photo). Usually my route will take me to Philadelphia (PHL) or Pittsburg (PIT) then on my way down to Miami (MIA). If I stop into Pittsburg sometimes I go to Atlanta (ATL) or then in to Fort Lauderdale (FLL). If you would like to follow my route one day! This is the current fleet of all aircraft owned by American Airlines.

and you can follow my route. I believe it actual gives altitude, speed of the aircraft and +/- arrival time.

Why does your profile say the aircraft is a Boeing 777-212ER . . . I was under the impression the sales code for AA from Boeing was 23 - i.e. Boeing 777-223ER?
