I grew up with a dad that was a Bush Pilot. He was a non-responsive parent...LOL Well what I mean to say is that he was never there...so I got the joy of flying many times in prop planes and getting to see new places but didn’t really get to know my father. I was passing by the airport in Anchorage when I saw the sign for flying lessons and all of a sudden it hit me that this was what I wanted to do. Well one week later and a whole lot of research and I have learned that wanting and doing is located in two different hemispheres for this particular field. I would really like to get a loan but no one will give me one until I have my private pilot’s license and then they will help me get my Instrument. Funny how that works. Anyways, I have less then two weeks to come up with the first 500 dollars for ground school. It’s a little daunting but like everything else, if it were easy it wouldn’t be so darn exciting.
