u could go robs way n do it thru a uni.. leeds n herts do good courses for that... or look for sponsorships being advertised in mags n internet like the gliding world does in bursaries for us

Out of curiosity, is your PPL for another purpose rather than pleasure?

 

I mean, if you are intending on becoming an airline pilot, or an RAF pilot then these places offer sponcership. I know here, at BA, we offer sponcership to a select amount of pilots. It is difficult to get, but if you get it the Airline will provide you with £4000 to obtain your PPL, and incluse money for things such as your books and travel expeses. They will then put you into a reputable flight school and provide funding untill you get to ATPL state, but if you fail at any stage they withdraw funding. Also, you have to prove that you can potentially become a pilot, qualifications and things.

 The RAF also do spncership if you have something to offer them.
