I would probably buy a Cessna 182 on floats, so I could travel to Canada or Alaska to go fishing and hunting.

Cessna Citation X, one of the fastest business jets in the world!
Or if I really won the lottery several times, a Boeing BBJ - fly the family all around the world in pure luxury and great speed/range. Not to mention it'd be fun to learn to fly ;)
Or if I get a 6-figure job, a Cessna 182 with G1000 glass cockpit - wonderful, dynamic plane and I've always wanted to take some G1000 introduction lessons.

a 757 with the new winglets. cuz its slim, and can go far.
-------------------------------------------------------------- The propeller is just a big fan in the front of the plane to keep the pilot cool. Want proof? Make it stop; then watch the pilot break out into a sweat.

Scaled Composites' "Triumph"... all composite (love composites), light, capable of high altitudes, two turbofans, T tail, and connards. I've always had a soft spot for connards.

You mean the vomit comet? That's just a Boeing 707 that goes up and down to simulate weightlessness, when it's actually just a falling sensation.

I own a 1978 Cessna 172 now, but i guess the plane i would get would be a Cessna 182 for the extra power.

A North American T-28 Trojan. I'd like the Navy version rather than the AF model, since it has the bigger radial. You just can't beat the sound of a radial taxing slowly across the flightline... Wait, yes you can. The one thing better than that is the sound of a radial attached to a T-28 doing a low pass at 180 knots!

I like the Gulfstream V. Very nice airplane to take long trips and it's pretty fast. Out of the airplanes I have flown I really enjoyed flying the Vans RV-8. That was a very impressive airplane. Thank You everyone for participating in this thread, there were a good number of replys and I hope to chat more with you all.

The Challanger 605 by far. Its fast, comfortable, has excellent range, and its a sweet looking plane.....not to mention my first jet experience at the yoke was in the left seat of a challenger 604..

I fly a Mitsubishi Marquise as a Corporate 135 Pilot and it is a great commuter. Comfortable, FAST, and makes demands on the pilot's skill level at every altitude. Not for autopilot pilots. We file at 270 knots and easily get get over 300 over the ground. Twin turbines, 4 blades, and spoilers. next time you hear one at your airport, and you do hear them first, take a close look. Ask the pilot for a look inside and at the cockpit.
