To give a definitive answer, the F-14 Tomcat for the US Navy took it's last flight on October 4th 2006. The last operational situation it was in was dropping 1 bomb in Iraq. The aircraft returned to the USS Theodore Rosservelt on Feb, 8th marking its last mission. Hope that helps. Tom
