Tips for a beginner:
get with someone who knows what they are doing or play with a computer simulator for RC for a while, or just do it the way I did and wreck a bunch of airplanes getting it right. It gets expensive but the learning curve moves along a little faster.
Good Luck

I have 20-25 die-case 1:400 scale models...mostly commercial airliners and hopefully that will grow soon. If anyone wants a list, I'd be more than happy to type them all out haha. I used to keep a running website of my collection but I'm not *that* great of a web programmer

I use to be really into it! I started when I was 16 and probably continuted until I was 18. I probaby had a dozen in all. All of them were electric. Three of them were kit builds. The rest were almost ready to fly. One of them, Lazy Bee, took me about six months to build. I also got a little bit into helicopters, but never got farther then hovering. I still have most of my equipment in case I ever get the urge to do it again. My favorite plane is the Zagi flying wing. It's a great airplane, and almost undestructable. -Brett :)

Got into it about a year ago, the first plane(Sig Kadet LT-40) I got wrecked not to long ago and that was because my little brother was flying and forgot to tighten the wing bolts . Got a new Sig LT-40 still in box, since the hobby shop wasn't going to get any in for 2 months. Have a Hanger 9 P-51 trainer(for little brother) a super chipmunk(very nice) and going to get a 60 size Ultra Stik soon.

Still saving up for a small electic trainer!
