I'm probably a workaholic. I have a hard time saying "no" when someone asks me to work on something for them. I was laid off from my first A&P job on my 20th birthday. But I sucked it up, moved on, found side jobs here and there and held a contract with a local airliner for a couple months. Finally got my big break getting into Duncan Aviation.

Aviation Background

Aviation was nowhere in my family tree. The bug caught me when my grandpa gave me Flight Simulator 2000, which he became too impatient with on his computer. I was 12 years old at the time, and wanted then to become a pilot. Later on, I joined the Michigan Institute of Aviation & Technology at the age of 16, to become an Airframe & Powerplant mechanic. I was dual-enrolled (high school & college), doing three hours at each place. It was kind of chaotic, but I pulled through and graduated high school with honors. A year later, at age 19, I received my Airframe & Powerplant certification.
I have experience with the Beechcraft U8D, Cessna 150, Cessna 152, Cessna O-2A/337, Cessna 421, North American T-39, Falcon 20, Lockheed Electra L-188, Piper Cherokee PA28-150, Grumman American AA-1A, Boeing DC-9, and Beechcraft B-90.
