His love for the emergency service started in his home town of Ramsey NJ where he volunteered his time with both the Ramsey Fire Department and Ramsey Rescue Squad. FF Reilly worked as a Reserve ARFF Firefighter with Rural Metro Fire Department's Specialty Fire Division in 2002 and 2003 at Morristown Airport in NJ. FF Reilly left Rural Metro when he was hired by the Stamford Fire Department in Connecticut.
Mike was an all around great guy. He always had a smile on his face and was always willing to help out! It's always sad to hear of the loss of a brother but knowing that brother makes it even more difficult. He will be missed by all who knew him!
