Aviation Background
|
Started Flying in college, got my power rating in 1984 and flew early mornings to escape the turbulence. Got my glider rating in 1995 and have done little power flying since 9/11/01. Started walkalong gliding in 2002 and have expanded to fly my own designs including a jumbo and also butterflies.
I find the walkalong glider activities an excellent way to introduce the general public to aviation and what it is like to pilot an aircraft.
